How it works
The month view groups exported messages by calendar month. Use it to inspect which months contribute most to the total.
Step by step
Open an analysis and select the month tab.
Compare the calendar-month totals.
Interpret a peak using the export’s date range; do not assume each bar represents one year.
What to keep in mind
Month buckets are not a complete year-by-year timeline. In a multi-year export, the same calendar month can combine more than one year.

Questions and answers
What do the statistics actually measure?
Results describe the successfully parsed messages in the imported file. Missing history affects totals. Response times and conversation endings are timestamp rules, not read receipts or evidence of feelings.
Can I analyze more than one chat?
